This year USYAK and IYAK have a combined show. Registration for the show will be through the USYAK website, click the button below to register your yak or fiber arts.

YAK Animal Show Information

Fees: The fee is $40 per animal, for admission to the stockyards. There’s an additional fee of $15 per animal per event in which you wish your yak, or your showmanship, to be evaluated.

There are four events: Conformation Evaluation in the Pen, Halter Show in the Show Arena, Yak Fiber on-the-yak in-the-pen, Showmanship.

Masquerade-No Fee
Dress yourself up, and dress up your yak or hybrid, we will go for a parade.

Yakstacle Course-No Fee
Just as it sounds, try it out with your yak or hybrid.

Fiber Arts – Fees Vary (sign-up at NWSS, and pay there)

Display only – Free

Fiber Arts Competition:

$10 per item for people who don’t bring USYAKS animals to NWSS

$10 entry fee to enter up to five items for people who bring animals and show them in the USYAKS show
