Hello From The Communications Committee Chairperson

Hello!

I am the newly appointed Communications Committee Chairperson.

Did something YAK-TACULAR happen in your area? Have you seen an article that you believe will be of interest to the Membership? Let's share that with the Membership. Just shoot me an e- mail at president@iyak.org. Or, if you know someone on the Committee that you like to share with, please contact that person directly. Thanks and looking forward to yaking with you!

IYAK Membership Drive

IYAK is pleased to announce that IYAK is holding a membership drive with reduced membership fees for applications received through June 1, 2018.

New and renewing members can take advantage of a $50 membership fee for yearly membership. A $500 fee for lifetime membership is also being offered through this limited time offer.

Put the word out to your yak loving friends and other yak owners so that they can take advantage of this one time offer.

Babies!

Congratulations are in order for our Registrar/Secretary, Claire Roberts. Claire and her husband recently welcomed into this world a set of beautiful twin girls! Those lucky enough to have experience with twins know how busy they can keep you! Between the twins and the duties as Registrar/Secretary, Claire certainly has her hands full.

Exciting news, right?

Speaking of the duties of the Registrar, the highly anticipated Generation Based Progression Registry (GBPR) is open for registration of your yaks! Please check out the presentation posted on the IYAK website under Technical Papers in the Library for information about registering your yaks under this program.

We are working hard to update the documents on the IYAK Website to provide more information on the registration process under the GBPR. Please be patient as we work through our growing pains with this new program. These applications my take a little longer to process.
