MISSION

The purpose of the International Yak Association shall be to collect, record, and preserve the pedigrees of yaks, to publish a breeding registry to be known as the "North American Yak Registry Herd Book" and to stimulate and regulate any and all matters such as may pertain to the history, breeding, exhibition, publicity, sale or improvements of the breed.
